Bowood Park Golf Club is located a leisurely 10mins drive from the Bottreaux Hotel.

Set in 230 acres of rolling hills and woodland, the Bowood Park Estate once formed part of a 13th century deer park owned by the Black Prince. Recognised as the premier parkland course in Cornwall, Bowood atttributes its magic to water: a tributary of the River Allen nibbles at the entire length of the 12th fairway and forms a horseshoe around the bewitching 12th green which is the signature hole of the golf course. A natural spring rises on high ground behind the 5th and feeds 26 ponds and lakes which double as water hazards and wildlife reserves with many species of water fowl in residence.
The course is a delight for all standards of golfer with a classical par 72 of 6,692 yards for men and 5,700 yards for the ladies. The relatively light bunkering and lush fairways lead to large, judiciously placed greens, the smallest of 450 square metres and the largest 900. The well-drained greens, built to USPGA standards, means the course rarely closes in inclement weather, and in winter tees and greens are in full use. Facilities include a driving range with covered bays and an ample supply of golf buggies.

At the Bottreaux Hotel, we offer our guests the opportunity to experience the top class facilities of Bowood Park at a substantial discount to the standard green fees. Golfing discounts from the Bottreaux Hotel mean that guests can combine the most comfortable stay in the delightful, timeless village of Boscastle with the enjoyment of a round of golf in one the country's most sophisticated courses.
